RAWGraphs is a free, open-source, browser-based tool from an academic and design lineage. It excels at chart types most commercial tools skip — alluvial and Sankey diagrams, beeswarm plots, circle packing, contour plots. Data is processed in your browser and never uploaded. The output is an SVG or PNG you download and typically refine in Illustrator or Figma.
PlotSet is a hosted platform where the chart stays live: 300+ templates, interactive embeds on every plan, data-driven animation, MP4 video export on every plan, and plugins for Figma, Google Sheets and Chrome.
